Is this an AI video generator?+
No. Postango edits footage you shot — yours, start to finish. Nothing is generated from a text prompt and there is no stock footage standing in for you. The AI part is the editing and the writing.
How does it work?+
Three steps: film what you do, upload the raw footage, and let Postango edit, caption and schedule it. Behind the scenes it edits in a style matched to what you are making. You approve each video, and it posts to every account you have connected — Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads and Bluesky — at the times you set. Photos work the same way: post them as they are, or let Postango turn them into pan-and-zoom video.
How many videos do I get from one upload?+
Every video Postango edits from your clips comes back as two edits: a short-form edit for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, and a long-form edit, the full version. Together the two use 1 of your videos, or 2 if you keep both. Under a minute of footage makes the short-form edit only, which uses 1. A Landscape 16:9 version of either edit is 1 more. When your video is ready, we also suggest extra clips from it that would make great standalone posts. You pick the ones you want and say yes before any is made, so there are no surprises. Each one uses 1 of your videos when it's made. A podcast or a product video is made as one video.
Do I need any video editing experience?+
None. Postango is built for people who are great at what they do and have zero interest in learning to edit video. If you can point a camera and hit record, Postango handles the rest.

Video goes everywhere except Bluesky, where a video goes as its cover picture with a link to watch it on YouTube, and photos go everywhere except YouTube.
